The State Government sanctions compensation to the next of kin(s) of the victims of various natural calamities such as Lightning, Drowning, Electrocution, Wall/ Building Collapse, Boat Capsize, Tree Falling, Landslide, Earthquake etc. And this Department provides Ex-Gratia Grant for each death. Ex-gratia Grant is provided to the families of victims of Snake Bite and Sunstroke for each death and for fire accident as per norms. Moreover Ex-gratia Grant is provided as and when announced by the Hon’ble Chief minister to the families of the victims.
