Relief materials like tarpaulin, dhuti, saree, lungi, children garment, blanket, milk powder, kurti-leggings etc disaster management kits etc are distributed to the victims of 12 notified calamities under SDRF norms namely cyclone, drought, earthquake, fire, flood tsunami, hailstorm, landslide, avalanche, cloud burst, pest attack, frost & cold wave as per guidelines given in the SDRF norms. Such Relief materials are also provided to people affected by 14 State Specific Disasters namely lightening, accidental fire, drowning due to natural calamity / accidental drowning, boat capsize, tornado / thunderstorm, death due to poisonous animal bite, heat wave, electrocution, fall of tree, wild animal attack, structure / house / wall collapse, river and coastal erosion, forest fire and heavy rainfall following the SDRF norms.
